New Consumer Laser Safety Standard

This is a much needed guidance document that defines the requirements for lasers that are appropriate to sell to consumers. It is deliberately harmonised with the equivalent European standard of the same number to minimise the burden on manufacturers/importers.

Hoping Australian regulators #ACCC or #fairtrading adopt this standard as current guidelines are lacking.
